TEHRAN -- A painting exhibition by seven Iranian women entitled “From East to West” is underway in Arpino, Italy, the student news agency ISNA reported here on Friday.

Thirty-two paintings by Sharareh Salehi, Soheila Vadudi, Iran Jahanshahi, Sussan Nasr, Farah Seyyed-Abolqasem, Sudabeh Mirfasih, and Jila Kamyab are on display at the Boncompagni Palace.

Iran’s Cultural Attaché to Rome Alireza Esmaeili, Aprino officials, and director of Umberto Mastroianni Foundation made speeches at the opening ceremony on June 17.

Cosponsored by Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, Mastroianni Foundation, and Frosinone Governor’s Office, the exhibit will continue until July 1.
